Who is ASTRA opened to?<\/div>\n
ASTRA is a program designed for pre-seed and seed startups and mature research projects in Israel who focus on space technologies.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Is the program virtual or in-person?<\/div>\n
The program will provide a state of the art workplace in the Tel Aviv center area while providing workshops both online and in person.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

How long does the program last?<\/div>\n
3 to 7 months.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Does the program cost anything?<\/div>\n
The program does not charge a fee for its support but ask for a small percentage equity (5%) to participate in the program. The “value” of ASTRA support is $120K per supported company.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Does ASTRA provide funding support?<\/div>\n
Yes, the incubated company will have the option to receive an investment structured as a convertible note capped at $2M in exchange of equity in the startup. ASTRA will also prepare the founders to raise additional funds, and provide ample opportunities to market their technologies to key players in the ecosystem.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Spacetech needs its designers and makers as well as its engineers and researchers. What is the time commitment of the program?<\/div>\n
Startups should be able to commit to 5-10 hours of focused time each week. There are approximately 1.5 hour of practical workshops each week plus weekly meetings with the ASTRA team and regular community\/networking opportunities.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Can foreign (non-Israeli) projects\/ startups apply?<\/div>\n
The program’s scope is essentially national, without necessarily excluding foreign projects that would like to set up in Israel and create value for the local ecosystems.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
