Anduril Raises $5 Billion to Scale the Future of Defence Technology
Anduril Industries has announced a massive $5 billion Series H funding round, bringing the company’s valuation to $61 billion and reinforcing its position as one of the most influential players in the defence technology sector. The round was led by Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz.
The financing marks one of the largest private raises in defence tech history and reflects growing investor confidence in companies developing scalable, software-driven military capabilities.
Scaling Manufacturing and Autonomous Defence Systems
The new funding will support Anduril’s continued investment in:
- Manufacturing capacity
- Research and development
- Industrial infrastructure for autonomous defence systems
According to the company, the objective is to accelerate the deployment of advanced systems at industrial scale, in response to evolving operational requirements and the changing nature of modern warfare.
A Rapidly Growing Defence Technology Leader
Founded in 2017, Anduril has become a central player in the new generation of defence companies combining:
- Artificial intelligence
- Autonomy
- Advanced sensing
- Software-defined defence systems
The company more than doubled its revenue to $2.2 billion in 2025 and continues to expand across autonomous systems, drones, command-and-control software, and defence infrastructure.
Recent milestones include international defence contracts, autonomous combat aircraft demonstrations, and the expansion of large-scale manufacturing initiatives such as Arsenal-1, its new production facility in Ohio.
Defence Industrialisation at Scale
Anduril’s latest raise highlights a broader transformation underway in the defence sector: the shift toward scalable, rapidly deployable, AI-enabled military systems.
The company argues that future conflicts will increasingly rely on:
- Intelligent autonomous systems
- Rapid production cycles
- Resilient industrial capacity
- Networked defence architectures
This funding positions Anduril to continue scaling its industrial and technological capabilities in response to growing demand from the U.S. and allied defence ecosystems.
