Expanding our U.S. Footprint
Starburst continues its international expansion with the opening of its third U.S. office in the Austin-San Antonio Innovation Corridor, in collaboration with the Hays Caldwell Economic Development Partnership.
This strategic move strengthens Starburst’s presence in one of the fastest-growing ecosystems for aerospace, defense, and deep tech innovation in the United States.
Strengthening Presence in a High-Growth Innovation Hub
The Austin-San Antonio corridor has emerged as a key hub for innovation, bringing together startups, corporates, research institutions, and investors. By establishing a local presence, Starburst aims to further connect global innovation ecosystems and support the development of high-impact technologies in the region.
This expansion also reflects a broader ambition: to accelerate collaboration between European and U.S. stakeholders in aerospace and defense.
Launching the Innovation Corridor Defense Accelerator
Alongside the office opening, Starburst is launching the Innovation Corridor Defense Accelerator, a new programme designed to support startups in scaling their solutions.
The programme will provide:
- Access to testing infrastructure
- Connections to a strong network of investors, industry leaders, and academic partners
- A dedicated environment to support growth and market access
This initiative is designed to help startups move faster from development to deployment in highly strategic sectors.
Building the Local Team
This expansion is supported by the arrival of Bart Bohn and Harold Strong, who will play a key role in driving Starburst’s activities in Texas and supporting the growth of the local ecosystem.
