Picogrid Closes $45M Series A to Expand Military Sensor Infrastructure
Picogrid has successfully closed a $45 million Series A funding round led by Bessemer Venture Partners. The company is building the open infrastructure layer that enables interoperability between the growing number of sensors, drones, autonomous systems, AI agents, and C2 software used by modern militaries.
This investment will allow Picogrid to scale its global deployments and continue supporting the Pentagon, NATO, and allied nations with integrated data and operational capabilities.
Solving Fragmentation in Military Systems
The U.S. military is experiencing a generational reset, fielding unprecedented numbers of sensors, drones, robots, and software tools. However, these systems often operate in silos, creating fragmentation that limits operational effectiveness.
Picogrid’s platform addresses this bottleneck by connecting disparate systems, enabling real-time data fusion, coordination, and decision-making across complex military networks. The Series A funding accelerates the company’s mission to provide a unified infrastructure for defence operations worldwide.
