ResilienX Selected to Support GrandSKY on Project ULTRA

ResilienX has been selected by GrandSKY to support Project ULTRA, a UAS airspace integration initiative sponsored by the Office of Undersecretary of War for Acquisitions and Sustainment.

Through this subcontract, ResilienX will contribute to unmanned aircraft systems integration and operational evaluation activities, helping advance the safe integration of UAS into shared airspace.

Advancing UAS Integration and Simulation

ResilienX will provide engineering integration and operational modeling support using its AAM OptiX digital infrastructure.

The work will focus on:

  • Integrating multiple data sources
  • Enabling interoperability between systems
  • Supporting simulated operational scenarios
  • Evaluating advanced UAS Service Supplier capabilities

This effort is designed to help assess how defence and commercial drones can operate safely beyond visual line of sight in shared airspace.

Supporting BVLOS Operations in Complex Airspace

ResilienX’s AAM OptiX platform provides capabilities such as a common operating picture, strategic deconfliction, and conformance monitoring.

These tools allow operators and stakeholders to monitor UAS activity, assess risks, and make informed decisions in complex and evolving airspace environments, including degraded or contingency scenarios.

A Step Toward Real-World UAS Deployment

Project ULTRA aims to validate operational concepts, improve system interoperability, and accelerate the integration of uncrewed systems into real-world operations.

By bringing its dual-use digital infrastructure into the programme, ResilienX is contributing to the development of safer, more scalable BVLOS operations for both defence and commercial applications.
