The agency works closely with committed companies to build capabilities, innovate and internationalise. As the national standards and accreditation body, they continue to build trust in Singapore’s products and services through quality and standards.


Enterprise Singapore will give successful startups the opportunity to receive privileged access to government grants as well as seed funding.

Being a premium airline partner, SIA will enable early-stage startups to work closely with one of the most coveted customers in the industry. This will allow startups to further their credibility and help establish a strong brand image.

SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC) is a major provider of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services in Asia-Pacific. SIAEC has a client base of more than 80 international carriers and
aerospace equipment manufacturers. It provides line maintenance services at 30 airports in 7 countries, as well as airframe and component services on some of the most advanced and widely
used commercial aircraft in the world. Apart from MRO services, SIAEC also offers a comprehensive and integrated suite of solutions under its fleet management services.


SIAEC provides an opportunity for startups in the program to work on relevant use cases in the MRO space. Successful solutions will result in proof of concept projects with potential funding. 

SATS_Logo

SATS is Asia's leading provider of food solutions and gateway services. Their food solutions include airline catering as well as central kitchens for food service chains and institutions. Their comprehensive gateway services encompass airfreight handling, passenger services, ramp handling, baggage handling, aviation security services, aircraft interior and exterior cleaning, as well as cruise centre management. SATS is present in over 65 locations and 14 countries across Asia Pacific, the UK and Middle East.


SATS will be providing a few of their operational problems for startups to address directly. Thus, successful solutions will result in pilot projects or even proof of concept grant funding from SATS.

The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Thales have come together to jointly establish the Aviation Innovation Research (AIR) Lab in Singapore to drive innovation in new air traffic management (ATM) technologies. The AIR Lab is currently focused on the development of an Open ATM System architecture minimum viable product as its immediate priority. This project will be a key enabler for CAAS’s next-generation ATM system. Through the AIR Lab, Thales will be increasing its level of investments into ATM-related research in Singapore by bringing in domain experts and hiring software engineers, system engineers, and integrators.


Airlab will provide applicable participating startups an opportunity to partner together to further advanced the joint initiative of both CAAS and Thales to create an Open ATM System.

ACA manages over 1 US billion dollars across Asia and has invested in and supported more than 30 companies through the introduction of business management know-how, compliance control framework and introduction of strategic partnerships. ACA intends to accelerate its investments and support promising Asian companies with rapid growth.


Starburst and ACA will be setting up an impact fund, Starburst - ACA Impact Fund I, mainly focusing on 3 key verticals - namely sustainability, digitalisation and transport, logistics and supply chain.

The Association of Aerospace Industries (Singapore) or AAIS, is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2003 to promote the development of Singapore as a leading aerospace hub. Its vision is “An Innovative Aerospace Community for a Sustainable Future.” AAIS represents companies involved in aviation, aerospace and unmanned aircraft systems, including maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), manufacturing, parts distribution, research & development, training and education, and aftermarket services. It serves as the voice of industry to influence future directions and policies, facilitates business and engenders the development of the industry community.


AAIS will be providing startups with executive-level mentorship to help them navigate the complex aviation regulation framework in Singapore and Asia as a whole.

Greenwillow Capital Management Pte Ltd is the Fund Manager of a venture capital technology fund with a focus on Southeast Asia startups in the Smart Cities and Healthcare space. With deep experience and business networks across Asia, Greenwillow’s Managing Partners play an active role in helping portfolio companies in the venture building and commercialization process.


Starburst is partnering Greenwillow to support portfolio startups in fund raising and commercialisation activities.
