IDDK Partners with Inbound Aerospace to Deliver Microgravity-as-a-Service
Japan’s IDDK has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Chennai-based Inbound Aerospace to advance microgravity experiments and in-space manufacturing, offered as a service. The partnership pairs IDDK’s palm-sized Micro Bio Space LAB with Inbound’s autonomous, reusable re-entry spacecraft, creating a lower-cost alternative to the ISS for long-duration research in low-Earth orbit. IDDK’s proprietary one-chip microscopic observation technology (MID) lets researchers run microscope-based bio-experiments where size and weight are at a premium. Read more: Indian Defense News
