Miraex Acquired by SEALSQ to Power Quantum-Secure Satellites
Miraex has been fully acquired by post-quantum semiconductor leader SEALSQ (NASDAQ: LAES), which bought 100% of the Swiss photonics company through its $200 million Quantum Fund — a major exit for a deep-tech space startup.
The deal brings Miraex’s photonic quantum-interconnect technology into SEALSQ’s program for quantum-secure satellite networks in low-Earth orbit. Founded at Switzerland’s EPFL Innovation Park and led by co-founder and CEO Daniel Brau, Miraex develops chip-scale photonic integrated circuits for distributed quantum computing, quantum sensing, and quantum networking.
