Starburst announced the launch of its 2nd cohort for ASTRA
Starburst revealed the second cohort of ASTRA.
This week is full of new beginnings for the Starburst Aerospace Tel Aviv branch…
ASTRA, the first space tech accelerator in Israel, kicked off its second cohort with four promising international #startups all the way from Portugal, Japan and Poland.
We are excited to present ASTRA Cohort 2:
SpacEngineer [Nélson Oliveira]— develops a composite material solution for impact protection of satellites.
WeSpace Technologies [Yigal Harel & Yifat Feffer]— a deep space vehicle ‘Hopla’ for lunar exploration.
IDDK [Kohei Yoshioka]— offers a solution for bio-experiments in microgravity.
Magellanic Space [Albert David Lewandowski]— building a cybersecurity solution for the space industry.
Simultaneously, six other projects will initiate the start of the 9th Cohort of the IAI – Israel Aerospace Industries Innovation Center powered by Starburst Aerospace. The projects are developing technologies around the topics of electrical aircraft, Hydrogen, Radars, AI and more. A joint venture with the IAI, this cohort consists of Axon Pulse, Israel Defense Forces, AiGENT-TECH LTD, Tiltan Software Engineering LTD and Lirhot Systems LTD.
