Building Next-Generation Air Defense Capabilities

Alta Ares develops scalable and adaptive air defense systems designed for modern conflict environments, where large swarms of drones and missiles challenge legacy air defense. The company’s AI-driven interceptors include:

  • X-Lock: short-range system for Shahed-136 type threats (15 km radius)
  • Black Bird: medium-range interceptor for high-speed targets like cruise missiles (30 km radius)

Both systems integrate detection, identification, and interception capabilities in harsh operational environments, including arctic and desert conditions.

Accelerating International Growth

The funding will support:

  • Industrialization and production scaling
  • Product development and international expansion
  • Hiring of engineering and operational teams
  • Expansion of facilities in France (Toulouse) and Ukraine, with new offices planned in the Middle East and Asia

Alta Ares is positioned to become a European leader in counter-UAS and air defense, delivering combat-proven systems with AI and edge computing at their core.
