INNOVET Cohort 2 Officially Kicks Off with a Strong Start to the Ideation Phase
The second cohort of founders in the INNOVET program is officially underway. We launched the programme with an energising opening session, marking the start of the Ideation Phase, a critical stage dedicated to sharpening thinking, challenging assumptions, and validating problems that are truly worth solving before moving into solution development.
Building on Strong Foundations
Over the coming month, participants will engage in hands-on workshops, apply proven methodologies, collaborate with industry partners, and connect with the broader ecosystem. The objective: build a rigorous and validated foundation before committing resources to product development.
The kickoff session featured a deep Problem Research & Validation workshop led by Ido Meroz, focused on:
- Distinguishing real, market-driven problems from surface-level assumptions
- Identifying genuine pain points through structured research
- Validating hypotheses via interviews, observation, and data
- Defining problems with clarity and precision
- Avoiding common cognitive biases
- Prioritising challenges based on demand, feasibility, and impact
This disciplined approach ensures that founders are solving meaningful, validated challenges aligned with real industry needs.
A Strong Network of Strategic Partners
INNOVET is proud to collaborate with leading partners, including Israel Natural Gas Lines (INGL), IAI – Israel Aerospace Industries, Shibolet & Co., the Israeli Ministry of Defense, and the Israel Innovation Authority. Their involvement brings deep industry expertise, real-world perspective, and a strong commitment to supporting founders from day one. With the support of Lea Alon, Yuval Eyal, and Yoav Manor, participants gain practical guidance and direct exposure to the challenges and opportunities shaping the sector, strengthening their journey from ideation to execution.
We also had the pleasure of hosting Shira Shamban for a thoughtful session on selecting the right co-founder, followed by an open and inspiring founders panel featuring Cohort 1 entrepreneurs Tomer Adler, Yarden Carmel, and Yehonatan Dahan, who shared candid insights from their startup journeys.
This is just the beginning. In the weeks ahead, Cohort 2 will continue refining critical problems, engaging with real-world challenges, and laying the groundwork for impactful ventures.
