Odys Aviation Partners with Motion Applied

Odys Aviation has announced a strategic engineering collaboration with Motion Applied to develop a next-generation hybrid-electric propulsion architecture for advanced aircraft.

By integrating Motion Applied’s AMPEX MCU-600 silicon carbide inverter platform with Odys’ high-speed generator units, the partnership aims to accelerate the development of a certifiable, high-performance propulsion system for Odys’ Laila and Alta aircraft.

The collaboration will support Odys Aviation as it advances toward initial aircraft deliveries, strengthening the reliability, performance and integration of hybrid-electric propulsion systems for future flight applications.
