OrbitAID Aerospace to launch India’s first ever on-orbit refueling mission

Our startup portfolio, OrbitAID Aerospace, is set to launch AayulSAT, India’s first on-orbit refueling mission, aboard ISRO’s PSLV-C62.

The mini-tanker satellite will demonstrate on-orbit propellant, power, and data transfer using OrbitAID’s patented SIDRP interface, targeting TRL-9 qualification, a first commercial docking and refueling system deployed by India.

With AayulSAT, India becomes the fourth country capable of extending satellite lifetimes, laying the groundwork for a sustainable on-orbit servicing economy.
The mission supports satellite life extension, orbital debris reduction, and advances India’s Debris-Free Space Mission 2030.
