HydroSight Raises $5M to Transform Seabed Mapping with AI

HydroSight, an Israeli deep-tech company developing AI-powered seabed intelligence solutions, has emerged from stealth with a $5 million Seed funding round led by StageOne Ventures, with participation from Vertex Ventures and the National Center of Blue Economy.

The company is developing an AI platform designed to transform how underwater environments are mapped, understood, and managed, helping organisations better plan and operate critical marine infrastructure.

Turning Complex Marine Data into Actionable Intelligence

Modern sonar systems and marine survey technologies can collect increasingly large volumes of underwater data. However, transforming this information into an accurate, up-to-date understanding of seabed conditions still relies heavily on complex and manual processes.

HydroSight addresses this challenge by integrating marine survey data from multiple sources and time periods, using AI to identify changes, anomalies, and patterns to create continuously updated seabed intelligence.

The platform enables infrastructure operators to better understand underwater environments and make more informed decisions around planning, development, and operations.

Supporting the Future of Marine Infrastructure

As offshore activities continue to expand, the ability to accurately monitor and understand seabed conditions is becoming increasingly important.

HydroSight’s technology supports organisations operating critical marine infrastructure, including:

  • Ports
  • Energy companies
  • Telecom cable operators
  • Other underwater infrastructure providers

By reducing manual analysis and transforming field data into an intelligence layer, the platform helps improve efficiency, planning, and long-term infrastructure management.

Expanding AI Capabilities and Global Deployment

Founded in 2025 by Tomer Adler (CEO), Haitham Ezzy (CTO), and Chen Megera (COO), HydroSight was created around challenges identified through direct experience in marine operations.

The company will use the new funding to expand its team, strengthen its AI and analytics capabilities, accelerate commercial activities, and grow its presence in international markets.

With increasing reliance on offshore infrastructure and the growing importance of the maritime domain, HydroSight aims to become a key enabler for understanding and managing the underwater environment.
