AERIX Systems integrates NATO’s DIANA accelerator

Starburst is proud to share that Aerix Systems, a startup supported through BLAST Cohort 2, has been selected to join the new DIANA cohort, NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator.

Aerix Systems was retained under the “Autonomy & Unmanned Systems” Challenge, which focuses on advancing breakthrough technologies that strengthen allied capabilities in autonomous, unmanned, and resilient systems. This selection highlights both the technological relevance of Aerix Systems’ solution and its strong dual-use potential, addressing critical defence and security challenges.

The DIANA programme (Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic) provides selected startups with unique access to NATO end users, test centres, technical experts, and institutional partners, along with structured support to accelerate technology maturation and scale-up.

This achievement reflects Starburst’s mission, and that of BLAST, to identify and support deeptech startups capable of delivering strategic impact across the aerospace, space, and defence sectors.
